HRC Trading Limited (“HRC”, “we”) is a Nigerian company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission under RC 9849990, with its head office at House 3A, 1st Avenue, Graceland Estate, Karsana South District, Gwarimpa Extension, Abuja. We mine, trade, export and import solid minerals and general goods.
2. What this policy covers
This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through this website — principally the information you submit in our quotation form, and basic technical data recorded when you browse.
3. Information we collect
- Enquiry details you provide: name, company, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, the commodity or goods you are enquiring about, volumes and your requirement.
- Technical data: standard server and browser information such as IP address, device type and pages visited, used only to keep the site secure and working.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal data.
4. Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
- To administer a commercial relationship if you become a supplier or buyer.
- To meet legal, tax, customs and export-control obligations.
5. How enquiries are transmitted
Our website form is delivered by a third-party form-processing service (FormSubmit), which forwards your submission to our company email. Your details are then held in our email and commercial records. We do not publish your information.
6. Sharing
We share personal data only where necessary: with logistics, inspection or documentation partners involved in a shipment you have asked us to arrange; with professional advisers; or where required by Nigerian law, customs or a competent authority. We do not share data for third-party marketing.
7. Retention
Enquiries that do not lead to a transaction are kept for up to 24 months. Transaction, shipping and compliance records are kept for the period required by Nigerian company, tax and customs law.
8. Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for correction or deletion, or object to certain processing. Write to hrctrading@yahoo.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
9. Security
We restrict access to enquiry and commercial records to staff and advisers who need them, and apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No transmission over the internet is completely secure.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date above will change accordingly. The current version always governs use of this website.
